SAINT JANE BEAUTY: RE-VAMPING A LUXURY BEAUTY BRAND’S EMAIL STRATEGY FOR LONG-TERM E-COMMERCE SUCCESS
Saint Jane Beauty is a luxury beauty brand that incorporates CBD into its products and taps into the natural healing power of hemp.CBD stands for cannabidiol, and it’s the second most prevalent of the active ingredients found in the cannabis plant. Because of this, there are tight regulations when it comes to selling products that contain CBD, and doing so in traditional ways (Facebook, Instagram, Google). Navigating through the online advertising limitations was a major challenge for the brand. To help solve this, Saint Jane turned to Fall Line Digital to develop a strategy to build a long-lasting relationship with their owned audience. We were tasked with migrating Saint Jane Beauty from Mail Chimp to Drip Email CRM, and building out automated workflows and a long term email strategy to drive e-commerce sales.
We migrated Saint Jane to Drip, and built out workflows including but not limited to an intro series, abandon cart series, and post-purchase automation that not only made incremental revenue for Saint Jane but saved them time and opened their eyes to many more opportunities with e-commerce email marketing. We also created a Facebook and Instagram lead gen campaign that built Saint Jane’s email list by over 10,000 resulting in +$100,000 in revenue. The email lead gen campaign linked directly to Saint Jane’s email CRM and a welcome series workflow.
Saint Jane saw immediate results from the launch of a welcome pop-up email capture and 4-part introduction to the brand, paired with a new customer discount.
